Benefits of membership
- 12 golf lessons per annum
- 12 rounds of golf per annum (split into nines if required)

- Year membership @ £495 + £50.00 club card.
- If joining after first year of Academy membership, £250 will be deducted from the joining fee. If an Academy Member for 2 years before applying for membership, then £500 will be deducted from the joining fee.
Explanation notes:
The Academy is aimed at newcomers to the game, or lapsed players who are seeking to return after an extended absence. In both cases, it is hoped that Academy members will have achieved a level of proficiency and interest in the game, which will support transfer to full membership in no more than 2 years.
Academy membership runs from the date of joining. Full Members pay their subscription pro-rata in the year of joining and thereafter on a calendar basis.
It is not possible for existing Members of the club to transfer to Academy status.
The Academy is not intended as a route to "cheap golf".
Golf Lessons are 1/2hour individual lessons to be pre booked with professional. Group lessons may be arranged if preferred.
On course rounds shall be played at off-peak times as agreed with pro shop staff. All rounds must be logged with pro shop before play.
On course rounds can only be used once a competent playing standard has been reached. Please discuss with your teaching professional.
Suitable knowledge of etiquette and rules must be attained before course usage is made available.
Practice facilities will be explained to all members to ensure correct usage.
Club card discounts are the same as for Full Members, currently 10% discount on food and 15% on drink purchases in the clubhouse.
Extra golf rounds are available at times deemed suitable by the pro shop
Academy members may introduce guests, subject to limits prescribed by Council. (Currently a total of 6 guests per year and no one person more than twice per year). Guests must have bonafide club handicaps.
