CLUBHOUSE AND CATERING

Our clubhouse was built in 1770 in Georgian style. The recessed wings which include function and dining rooms were added in 1880. In the Armada room we have a spectacular carved oak fireplace which bears the date 1591 and is believed to have originated in one of Lord Howard’s Armada ships. (More information is available on our History page)

The most recent addition of the modern West Wing in 1999 provides excellent changing facilities, showers and lockers for large groups of golfers.

The oak panelled dining room seats around 90 people for dinner. Larger groups (of up to 120) can opt for a buffet style meal as the other rooms and the conservatory can then all be used for seating. We provide an attractive selection of four course meals at prices to suit your occasion. Please see the catering details page for more details.
