Effingham Golf Club is a very friendly Club that extends a warm welcome to all our new members. The Club offers something for everyone with a full programme of tuition for Cadets (under 12); Juniors (12-18) and the Academy for those who want to learn the game from scratch (excuse the pun)!

The Club operates a "roll up" system every morning of the week except Tuesday mornings which is reserved for our Ladies. It has proved to be a great way for new members to integrate into the Club and make many new friends.

We have a very busy Calendar of Competitions and Inter Club matches throughout the year and new members are encouraged to sign up for these from day one.

If you prefer to play your golf in a more leisurely and less competitive style, then we can satisfy your requirements too.

The Club runs a busy Social Calendar throughout the year catering for everyone including regular Sunday Lunches. The annual "Club Week", held during the first week in August, is unique to Effingham. Seven days of different competitions from the serious to the fun, together with a variety of Social events in the evening in the marquee.

There are also a variety of practice facilities available for members to use: a short game practice range, driving nets, two putting greens, a chipping area and two practice bunkers. And if you still have some energy, two hard court tennis courts and a snooker room!

Visitors are warmly welcomed to Effingham Golf Club during the week. However at weekends they must be accompanied by a member. It is always advisable to contact the Golf Shop on 01372 452203 to check starting times and Visitors should hold a current handicap. Click here for the current Green fees.
