Harry Colt Cup 2027

‍Effingham Golf Club are celebrating our Centenary in 2027 and the highlight of our festival week in July will be the Harry Colt Cup on Friday 30th July 2027.

The Harry Colt Cup was previously played for annually at Stoke Park GC and following discussions with their Director of Golf and a similar event held last year at Royal Wimbledon GC, it has been agreed that Effingham will run the event in 2027 in anticipation that the Harry Colt Cup can once again become an annual fixture, hosted by a selection of Clubs on a rotating basis.

Clubs with Harry Colt designed courses are invited to enter a pair of players , including one of your Captains/Vice Captains or Club Officers/Committee Members.  The format of the competition will be a better ball stableford, 85% handicaps, with Gentlemen/Boys playing from the white tees and Ladies/Girls from the green tees.

The entry fee will be £79.00 per Club (just £39.50 per player) to include tea/coffee and bacon rolls on arrival, and with 18 holes of golf followed by a barbecue buffet and prizegiving.  Jackets and ties are not required.
