Effingham Golf Club

GOLF for Boys & Girls of all abilities

About Us

Effingham Golf Club is a private members club which has a thriving Junior Section (up to 18 years) of boys and girls. We aim to provide a progressive programme from new starter to accomplished player.

The Club has hosted the British Open Qualifying rounds and in May 2014 was the chosen venue for the Southern Qualifier for the English Men's Open Amateur Stroke Play Championship.

The Club offers junior and beginner friendly golf facilities and provides subsidised coaching for the young golfers through a structured programme delivered by its PGA professional coaches. The Junior Section is organised and well supported by male & female volunteer members and is represented by a Junior Committee led by the Junior Captain.
